He has gone into this season with a very big squad, his own choice, but in my opinion hasn't used it enough.

Garrido did well enough earlier in the season to justify giving Olsson a go on the left wing, surely?

This Grabban-Jerome thing isn't working for me. Hooper is back, Lafferty hasn't been given a chance in his preferred position. I'd love to see us try a traditional little and large partnership up front. We have a £4.2m attacking midfielder on the bench who hasn't been given a chance, what's with that?

I'd be interested in hearing what changes others would like to see, personally I can't see anything wrong with giving this a go:

Perhaps a little harsh on Jerome, but he's made his living as a sub for the past five years anyway. Although even swapping Hooper for Jerome would still leave us with something different, without being too radical.

It is far too premature for me to start being too critical of Adams, or saying that he isn't the man for the job, but he must start using his very big squad and. Its not like we're a skint lower half team with 20 senior players on the books, we've got some real quality options. He has got to do that now.  Two and a half months into the season with half a dozen quality players yet to start a game!

We have 5 points in 5 games, and the players need to know that this is unacceptable. The only way that they will get the message is by losing their place in the team. What sort of message does it send to those on the fringes of the squad if they can't get a chance in a team playing this badly?

Even Gary O'Neil, he started 20+ games for a promoted team last season. He's a good solid player, "You don't change a winning team" went out of the window when we stopped winning five games ago!

I don't like to keep harking back to Lambert days, but he used his squad to great effect and I don't think Adams has done so far.

Agree with this, especially the Grabban/Jerome project. Stuck far to long with Grabban who I think is poor. Bradley Johnson leads a charmed life and accommodating Hoolahan, which unbalances the team.

Needs a shake up for Leeds.Hooper and Lafferty looks appealing ( also a big fan of the little/large in a 442 a la Keegan and Toshack) and why not Howson, Tettey, O'Neil and Vadis?

I think Adams will be prepared to change things tbf. Not sure he will change it as radically as you have CanaryBoy (which is a shame as I think that's a good team), but what is for certain is that we have to change something.

Yep I agree with all of this...I am genuinely concerned how slowly NA is reacting to changing the side around, a side that has not provided the results we need for a few games now......

I said Grabban was poor first time i saw him.versus Wolves and i think he has not got any better since then. Ive been saying for a few weeks i think his goals are masking his performances.

I said it in the first sentence. Like Hughton, he seems to have his favourite 15 or 16 and is sticking with them, not using his squad enough.

I've always been saying since the start of the season that I don't understand why we have let three left sided players go (well, two plus the left footed Snodgrass) and left ourselves starting Wes or Lafferty out of position.

We just need to see how Adams responds to this poor run of form, I just think that the worst thing he can do is not make several changes. By not making changes he is rewarding ineffective performances.

Without wanting to sound unkind, there may be positives in the Hoolahan injury. We will now need to look at alternatives and use the squad, and hopefully Howson will grab his chance.

I agree with what has been said, NA needs to freshen things up on Tuesday night, 5 points from 5 games isn't good enough the only plus side is the other teams in the top half of the championship are also dropping points, I think the next 6 games will show if we are going to be around the top at Christmas.

I'd like to see Lafferty start up front at some point in the near future. 3 in 3 for Northern Ireland playing in that position, and there's no reason why he wouldn't be able to do that at club level. Maybe something like this:

Maybe 3 strikers on the bench is a bit much, but I couldn't work out which one to drop all together so I just stuck them all in. Considering as well that we paid £4m for Odjidja-Ofoe, it seems stupid to have him as an unused sub each week. I also think that Howson is better playing the deeper role personally, which is why I'd have him behind Odjidja. Haven't seen any of Miquel personally, but from what I've been told he appears to relatively quick for a centre back, and is obviously left footed which fits in nicely with Turner.
