This site on iPad

I am getting the mobile version of this site on iPad which I guess is right.

The good thing is that the quote function works properly unlike the other site. However emoticons and the formatting bar are not available. I think I ave the right options set as they are available on a PC.

Is there any way of getting the full PC site version on an iPad?

Yes, at the bottom of the page just click 'full version'.

Have clicked over to the mobile version and back again, but still no formatting bar or emoticons available when pressing "more reply options". Perhaps they are just not available on safari?

Couldn't tell you to be honest.

What I can tell you is that IP board 4.0 is imminent, and that the new site will be fully responsive, so all tablet/mobile issues will go away at that point. As will the issues that people currently have with IE 11. 

There are quite a few bugs that I could fix right now, but I don't want to invest any time in doing so because when IP board 4.0 comes out I'll probably be spending a solid week building a skin for it and installing hooks / plugins.

I'm hoping that we'll have a beta version to install by the end of this year.

What browser you using Sussex?

Just tried on Safari, and no formatting bar. I have another browser installed called "Mercury Browser" (free) which also works with the pinkun.

When you either quote or reply click the button, bottom right, marked "More reply options" and you get your bar.

Its pretty good, its a lot like Firefox. I originally installed it as it was the only browser that quoted properly on the Pinkun (much like firefox does)
