I would expect the Greek lad to come in anyway? And see a large part of that money spent on a Cantwell replacement. Hopefully Webber will put a ridiculous price on Todd, to warn Villa off, or if they aren't warned off, absolutely skin them.

Norwich have made a £15m bid for Blackburn striker Adam Armstrong as they look to fend off competition from Southampton and Watford, according to reports.

The Sun claim the Canaries are offering cash plus Republic of Ireland prospect Adam Idah for the 24-year-old.

Rovers owners Venkys are looking to cash in on Armstrong, who has just one year left on his Blackburn deal.

The player joined Blackburn from Newcastle for just £1.7m in 2018 and scored 29 goals last season.

Newcastle inserted a 40 per cent sell-on clause into the sale. Southampton may make move after Danny Ings joined Aston Villa for £25m.
