Travelling to Wembley

As there's likely to be a national rail strike on play-off final date (which is so f*cking typical) does anyone know anywhere you can park and then get to Wembley?

Obviously Wembley Stadium has parking, but that's £30 and after spending a ridiculous amount on tickets for the game already it's a lot to fork out.

(If you're driving from Norfolk/Suffolk)  When we go to away days in London, we drive to a Tube station right on the far east end of London called Newbury Park, which has a big car park, and then get the tube into London.   That's what we'll be doing in just 8 days time 

I don't know what the parking cost is, but it'll certainly be less than £30! Plus you get a bit more of the 'experience' travelling into london on foot i think

Forgot about Newbury Park actually. Used to live in East London so am aware of it, but just forgot about it. Not overly concerned about the experience. I know what you mean though, but as I said I used to live in London, and have actually been to Wembley before to watch West Ham a few years ago.

In the end though I just decided to get one of the club coaches, nothing to worry about that way, and not really any more expensive than what we'd pay for Petrol/Tube tickets.

One good thing about living in Essex and being on the District Line.  Will be my 4th Play-off Final 3 at Wembley 1 at Cardiff seen West Ham win twice and saw Orient blow it big style last year.

Looking likely we'll drive to the outskirts of London and get the tube in from somewhere, hoping for a resolution to the strike ideally.

Me too.  I'm guessing they'll settle it which would be a big help.  My mum lives in High Wycombe so in the past I'd just get a Chiltern line train there direct to Wembley but obviously the strike would leave me with no way back !  Probably I'll look at the tube from Chorleywood which is handy for the M25.

Getting the coach on Monday but never got it before, so can I ask why is it you prefer Coach 3?
