U21s 5-0 Leicester

The development squad won 5-0 today with the first goal from Hooper, assist by Howson (both of whom played 60 minutes). Howson also provided the assist for Loza to score the second and Jamar went on to score a hat-trick and then provide the assist for Cameron McGeehan's late goal. Buzzing at Colney as well then!

Great to see Hooper get on the score sheet, and Howson get a couple of assists. Also good to see Loza get a hat-trick. Hopefully a few of the lads who played today will play against Shrewsbury next week. Including Howson and Hooper.

Also encouraging today were the performances of Miquel (good in the air and on deck I thought) ,Mcgrandles (chased everything but when on the ball used it intelligently)-def one for the future..

However ,I agree most good things stemmed from Howson who reminded us that he is a class player..

Amazing that we have achieved so much without Hooper and Howson, who should become available just as others need a rest. It's a long hard season for a team playing high tempo, high paced tactics. Definitely good news all around, Morty.

I'm just loving the fact that on Tuesday we could bring on O'Neill and Odidja-Ofoe as subs while these two were still out. Still can't qui understand how our squad can be stronger than last year... But not complaining

Even the U21 squad looks strong. Two alternative line-ups and some solid youngsters. Looks very healthy
