What a string of results, 5 straight wins and one lose from 8 since A.N. took over.

Me thinks we will go up without having to go through playoffs.

Fantastic run we've been on, not only the 5 straight wins, but the manor of doing so, having scored 14 and conceded just the 3, keeping 3 clean sheets in the process, and having beaten 3 teams in the the top 10 in the last 3 of those

I've felt all season that if we really get going there isnt a team in the league who can hang with us until the end, and it seems Alex Neil is get the best out of those available to him right now, now lets just make sure we make it 6 straight on sunday

5 wins in a row is amazing indeed. What's frustrating is that it hasn't got us further up the table, as those at the top keep getting results. If we can win our 6 pointers at home against the Binners, Derby and Boro we could then be in with a chance of automatic promotion. Let's start that on sunday! OTBC!

5 wins in a row is amazing indeed. What's frustrating is that it hasn't got us further up the table, as those at the top keep getting results.

We've gotten 4 more than Derby, 5 more than Boro, 6 more than Ipswich, 7 more than Bournemouth [ could rise to 10 tonight], 3 more than Watford and 6 more than Brentford and Wolves.

Whilst league position hasn't improved hugely the table looks FAR better.

Equally as impressive is the actual teams we have beaten, for the most part they have been teams in the top ten, there has been few easy teams in recent weeks.

No after the Forest win last night things are looking even more interesting. Sure we could well lose a game, BUT....under our new Manager we look like we have real team spirit and you would expect us to bounce back if a defeat happens......amazing turnaround!

Still early days but it looks like McNally has got this appointment spot on. 

At one point I was cynical about this appointment and didn't have confidence in Neil being able to gain the respect of the players, but they all seem to have responded very positively.

The derby is always a one-off and could go either way, always the most nerve wracking game. It worries me too that we've had good results in all the recent derbies so I hope the scum aren't abke to redress the balance this time.

People need to adjust their expectations compared to the Prem. In the Prem, 3 wins on the trot is pretty much enough to reach safety like Stoke last season, but this year we're gunning for promotion and the average needed is 2 points per game over the season which translates into plenty of wins

In order to hit a season-average of 2 points per game, we need to average 2.5 points per game from now on!

In all seriousness, I highly doubt that either of the two teams that go up automatically will average 2 points per game this season. There are simply too many teams at the top end of this league that are taking points off each other for that to happen.

I hope you're right, Nath, but it very much depends on keeping this run going. Bournemouth had won something like 6 straight when we beat them and they've faltered after that. We can't afford to do that.

We will beat them from down the road, and I think we will end up 2nd or 3rd come seasons end.
