If anyone has seen the singing toys freeview advert (hard not to its on all the bloody time), I am left with an image of RVW, Bassong, Bennett, Becchio etc all with linked arms singing 'I wanna know what love is'

Now Adams has left, what chance that Bassong in particular and others like RvW could be welcomed back into the fold?

Interesting question. I think Bennett will be back now he's had game time with Brighton (which was Adams' plan. Bassong is the interesting one, and Phelan might make a difference. I don't think Becchio would get into the side and RvW would only consider coming back if we were in the PL.

That sounds about right. Bassong's beef was solely about Adam's wasn't it? Although that doesn't mean he can come back into the fold without an apology of some sort.

If we could get the Bassong of old back that would solve a huge part of our problem. If a new manager wanted to bring him back I wouldnt be against it. Clean slate and all that

Zero. I don't care who the manager is, Bassong's attitude is diabolical. As for RvW, I think he will just want to put the episode here behind him.

Do we all believe that Bassongs only issue was with Adams and that he was also some popular club figure before being hounded out?

The Bassong of his first season was one of the best defenders we have had in years. I just don't see that guy ever turning up again at Carrow Road, well at least not to play for us.

Whilst I have no doubt that much of his anger was directed at Adams, he'd be a right twonk if a big part of his frustration wasn't aimed directly at the board.

Im sure his anger wasnt just directed at Adams. But if he wants to resolve the situation he has the opportunity now to pretend it was. I agree though, I cant see Bassong the first ever coming back. Much as I would love him to

Bassong the first was the best defender I've ever seen play for us. Some may disagree but its my opinion

is the any guarantee that we, or any other team for that matter, would have the original Mark I rather than the more recent Mark ll version of Bassong? I saw some of the televised match involving Watford and I didn't feel that he looked very dominant. Perhaps he will go to Brighton with Hughton, but Hughton didn't manage to encourage Bassong last season. The player seemed to have lost hope at times!

As far as I know no, dont remember hearing about one. Think we just wanted him out and someone else to pay his wages

Rumour is that Leeds want Becchio back. I would let him go to be honest. Yes he hasn't had many chances, but that's because when he has got a chance he's been awful. Van Wolfswinkel appears to be doing well at St.Etienne. And they reportedly have the option to buy him at the end of the season for £7.5m, I would love them to take that option. Even if they don't though, I don't think we'll ever see him in a Norwich shirt again. Bennett and Bassong though I really hope we keep hold off. Despite the fact that he's been much improved in the last few games, Whittaker on the whole hasn't had a great season, and I would love to see Bennett given a chance at right back. I think he has a lot of potential to be an excellent right back, but even as a winger, he's better than any other wide midfielder we have other than Redmond. Bassong in his first season here was one of, if not the best central defender I have ever seen for Norwich. It would be a waste to me not to give him another chance back in the first team, despite his attitude problems.
