If the season continues to unravel, and the club decides to sell Ruddy, Redmond and Hooper, what kind of money would you be happy with (in the way we felt 7m was a good price for Snodgrass)

Call me unrealistic, but I would hope to get over 5m for Ruddy (hopefully close to the 8m mark), 12m for Redmond (considering his potential, young age and performances for the U21s - and that he is English, with Beraniho rumoured to be valued at 23m). Hooper is a hard one to value. We paid 5.25m for him I believe. He's hardly done much to increase his value, but I dont believe we should be looking to simply get our money back. Used properly all of these players have the potential to be top players. Id want at least 8m for Hooper I think.

We got a good deal on Fer. Id hope that we'd be at least as business-like with other transfers. How much would you want for Bassong should someome come calling, ie Pardew or Hughton? 2m is probably the least we should take, though I think he's worth more - though not to us it would seem. Any manager would know we have an unusable player, so that will drive his value down

I am beginning to think we have overrated many of our players, not just in ability, that's not everything that matters, but in determination, charisma and concentration. Talk is cheap and the same old cliches after a poor performance are now tiresome.

I do not have any doubts about Rudd otherwise we will be saying he isn't ready at 30! How many more promising players do we risk losing.

So if Ruddy goes anything from £5-8M is Ok with me.

Redmond has not shown anything to me that suggests he is the star we think he is. How many goals in a season and a half? How many times does he slow it down rather than use his greatest asset-speed. How long do we keep saying potential?

If we got £10M I would be delighted.

I don't see anyone else fetching money from the Prem.
