Don't like being "that guy", but I'm a bit anal when it comes to music!

Going to see Frank Turner at the UEA on Thursday evening, so I'm going through his back catalogue at present.

Less than Jake currently. Along with Skindred, Volbeat and a bit of Amon Amarth. Oh, and Neil Sedaka who I'm going to see at the Royal Albert Hall in October

Love me some LTJ. Skindred and Volbeat as well actually.

What did you think of Skindred's last album?

I actually think it's as good as Union Black. Roots, Rock Riot is the best for me.

To be honest, they're all good. I live the acoustic stuff and their acoustic set at Download is one of the highlights of the festival.

I saw them do an acoustic set at Download a few years ago, was top notch.

Sorry to be a pedant, but it's their 3rd album after Generation Terrorists and Gold Against The Soul.

Still, a cracking album though, and I agree it's their best work.
Did you see they're performing The Holy Bible in its entirety at a series of gigs in December? I'm so all over that.

That doubles as the entrance music of the greatest wrestling announcer of all time, who must be from around your way!

Jim Ross?  Yeah, he lives in Norman and is usually down on the sideline during the big games, often with Toby Keith - who in this shot is behind Ross as they cheer Demarco Murray uncorking a 65 yard TD run vs. Texas in 2007...

Fast forward to 1:40:00 exactly for the play... You can see Ross and his black hat at about the 26 yard line...

James Garner is another Norman native.  Before he passed this summer he would narrate the video opener for Sooner home games.  He's at the end of this intro from 2012 uttering "This... Is Oklahoma football!"

It's not exactly "pumping" but the Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack is excellent listening.

This month I am mainly addicted to Royals Bloods eponymous debut album;    Lazaretto also heavily played in readiness for next months visit to the o2.

Right now its The Courteeners latest offering
