Why is the Norwich City coach service called 'Club Cabbage'

Always wondered this, I only know it as 'club cabbage' can't even remember what the official name is.

There must surely be a great story behind this?

It used to be Club Canary many moons ago. I presumed it to be a play on words of that, rather than some sort of insinuation relating to the occupants of the coach?

It's more to do with the smell.

some story about coaches getting lost in middle of nowhere and

being a bit antiquated, hence cabbage.

I have used it once when too late to get a train back from watford midweek

and based on what I heard from the supporters around me there may be another 

reason !

I've cabbaged all over the country and any perceived smell definitely didn't emanate from me....... :unsure:

The last time I used the service was Manchester City away, that was the, erm, final straw.

I must be a glutton for punishment, just bought Blackpool tickets travelling on cabbage. That's going to be a looooooong trip!
