Also, a big NO from me, actually a huge NO. I would rather remember the amazing job he did for us before he moved on, and the man he was when he led us to success.

Unfortunately, now after his embarrassing fist punching episode and general arrogance, I would rather he never returned, plus it is clear that the team he had around him whilst he was with us was probably a large part of his success, plus plus... as he really messed up at Villa that "big club"and regardless of the background problems did nothing with Blackburn.

I'm a bit pissed off with that window myself, particularly the Naismith signing (based on performances) and selling Hooper (when we could have loaned him for the season?) but I definitely wouldn't swap him for Lambert. I think it would be a failure like Mike Walker's second reign and his transfer business at Villa wasn't amazing, a couple of flops for every bargain he found.
