He isn't but as part of FIFA ultimate team, you can get position change cards so using 4 of them you can go CDM<CM<CAM<CF<ST

Not every position can change though, CB are stuck, Full backs can only become wing backs and wingers can be wing forwards, wingers or wide midfielders. They capped it so you didn't get daft things like Peter Crouch at right back.
