Real shame to see Ray Grant released, he always impressed when I watched him. McGrandales suffered the setback of a broken leg which I think just delayed his development.

Proven at this level and an interesting option - but how many of our current attacking options will make way? Its an area we need to lose players - not gain.
No guarantee we can move on Andreu, Naismith, Jarvis, wildshutt so could put one of wes, pritchard, Murphy x2, maddison at risk of needing to be moved on. 3 position, 6 players with young cover needed (Middleton a good prospect along with Maddison) means we are heavily overloaded here already.

The club wouldn't be getting him if they didn't know that some of those were leaving. I would Imagine that a deal will be done with Dundee for Andreu soon, that's without Naismith possibly leaving. We are still in a reasonable position financially so will only let let players leave that we want to go, unless we get silly offers obviously.

Completely agree FF; just want to avoid some of the assumptions surrounding the signing of Pritchard (players not moving on as anticipated) from last season that hamstrung us when it came to strengthening the defence later in the window.

Odd signing really considering we already have so many players in attacking midfield positions, even if we sell Naismith and Wildschut and bring Watkins in, we still have Hoolahan, Pritchard, Jacob, Josh and Maddison competing with him. Maybe one of the younger players will be loaned out? Disappointing though as they all proved last season they can improve us. Won't be disappointed should we sign Watkins, but do think it is a bit of a strange one seeing as attacking midfield is probably the only area of the team we don't actually need to add to this summer.
Seen us linked with Grant Hanley recently, which I'd be quite happy with as one of our main centre back options. Don't know if Klose is actually going to be sold as leaving Martin as the only centre back at the club whilst we look for others to bring in is risky. If we went into this season though with Martin, Klose, Hanley and one other who could be first choice as our options then I'd be happy enough really. We have our work cut out though, even if we do sign 2 new centre backs we still have to find a first choice goalkeeper, first choice left back, a back up right back, back up striker, and maybe one or two centre midfielders. Would love us to sign Aaron Mooy who was on loan at Huddersfield this season, however sounds like his asking price is £10m, and if Huddersfield get promoted they will be more likely to get him over us.

1). Has he had a hair transplant?
2). Did they use ginger hair, which he then dyed brown, or did he get a brown hair transplant?
3). How come he looks in better shape now that he plays for a pub team than he did when he was playing for us.
4). On a scale of 1-10, how much does he hate his agent for the quality of the career advice he has received.
5). Why didn't he sign with Fozzy's agent when he was here, if he had done he'd probably be on trial with Vitesse Arnham or Olympiakos this summer.

So now I'm a bit confused. I was hoping we'd find a way to get Jarvis or Wildschut out and that Marley replaces them, now I'm wondering whether he is a Naismith replacement.
Although he could just be the Lafferty replacement and it means we won't be signing a striker?
Fine if he is the Lafferty replacement. Hopefully he's a more professional and hardworking average player than Lafferty was.

I've heard he can play either flank, through the middle, centre mid, left back, centre back and sometimes in goal.

I quite like the sound of that Lincoln defender. Even if he ends up about as good as Ryan Bennett and is backup for a few years, he'll at least be a much cheaper version of Ryan Bennett we can assume?
