How does this work then? It is technically possible for us to finish with 103 points, if we win all twenty of our remaining fixtures?If the top two get over 85 points we can only get a play of spot - so 6th or third matters not
That's true, CB, but the most important games are those against top 6 teams. We've already had Bournemouth, so we need to win the others to have a chance of a top 2 finish. The next is Brentford where a win would move us to 6th and hopefully close the gap on others. On a more positive note, we have only one point less than Lambert's promotion winning team had at this stage, so there is hope.How does this work then? If we were to win 13, draw 4 and lose 3 of our remaining twenty games then that would leave us on 86 points?
