Reporting live from Prague, where I'm currently drinking in a 'beer museum'...

The following beers are fantastic....

Two tales (Ipa) 14 percent

Cornel red ale 12 percent

Januv elixir 11 percent

Best of 16 tried so far..... Off to soak it all up with some beef goulash.

I'm back from Dubai where beer was £8 a pint, made me teetotal for 10 days

Just having one of these bad boys for the first time in a long, long time. Pretty much overdosed on it when I lived in Germany, and visited the brewery where it is made. Bloody delicious!

For Christmas Mrs frank got me a few bottles of ale, two were variations on old speckled hen. They were both really good, one was old hoppy hen, can't remember the name of the other one.

Visited the Fur and Feathers in Woodbastwick a few weeks ago to sample some of the Woodfordes on offer, and oh my god what a lovely place this is. Beer is tasty, food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm! Recommend it! (and a few pints of Revenge)

Anyone completed the city of ale trail?  45 pubs and the opportunity to try at least 45 ales.    Any favourites emerge?

I want to do this although I'm not sure if I will survive! The Cavell they serve in Murderers is a nice drop of stuff

In my yoof it was always Bullards for mild and Steward & Patteson for bitter ... or was it the other way round?

Lacons wasn't bad either.

Then along came Eurofizz in the form of Watney's Red Barrel and Whitbread Tankard. One Watney's dark (mild) was very nice, but cannot recall the name.

Good to know the oldies are getting a foothold.

M&s are selling Woodfords beers including Nelsons Revenge, Wherry and Ghostship. Great for me as I get staff discount
