Don't think he'll figure until Liverpool based on Alex's  comments last week about lack of gametime due to the Croatian midwinter break, but you never know.

did i see a report that pinto trained with the team for the first time today and is in the squad for the weekend (although that may not mean he makes the bench even) so he is in contention.   One session unlikely to be enough for him to start saturday - a change is needed as the right flank continues to be exploited.

Hopefully a live contender for the following week.    Mind you I thought wisdom is a better option than martin for bot of these away games so what do i know.

Anyone else think it's slightly unlikely that two Sebastiens are imminently signing? They don't look massively dissimilar, either.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for us to sign a decent centre-half and another forward. Just seems a bit odd.

No idea about Di Maio's level. Dont watch enough Serie A outside of big games. He seems to be quite physical player at prime age for CB and without knowing anything more than stats he looks like a solid unit who could fit Premier League

But Haller could be great addition as our third striker, if there is anything behind it. Has been very impressive and has great technique for his size. Anyway he just signed for Utrecht and has a long contract so I think this rumour id BS.

Hopefuly I'm wrong because  that kind of signing would be perfect deal for us. Player who has not fulfilled his potential yet, but could challenge our current strikers for playtime without being signed as "messiah" and sure starter.

Eatonparkcanary, we currently have two of our youth team products getting regular games in the Championship (Toffolo and Josh Murphy). 

Those are presumably the two who are closest to having a chance of making it here.

It is surely better for Toffolo to be playing against quality players in the Championship than being stuck in our under 21's just waiting for Olsson to get injured? 

Our youth team has become a lot more productive, the standard of players being churned out is definitely on an upwards curve. 

We had a decade where pretty much the only players to come out of our youth team was Jason Shackell and then Chris Martin with not much inbetween. Those are the only two to have made it at Championship level in a very long period.

Currently in addition to those two there are now Korey Smith and Tom Adeyemi playing in the Championship alongside Josh Murphy and Harry Toffolo. 

Beats the Worthington days where Ryan Jarvis and Danny Crow were our best prospects. I bet Toffolo and Murphy won't be playing for Lowestoft at 29 unless they get a serious injury.

Cameron McGeehan was very highly rated here but was desperate to play senior football because he didn't feel like players develop in U21's football. So if we take his word for it, then out on loan is the right place for Toffolo and Murphy to be. 

I can remember when Ryan Jarvis would get a game then disappear for two months, he really needed to be out on loan playing more football for the years that he sat around not getting games for us.

To quote McGeehan: "I think the Under-21s is a graveyard for a lot of players. It's not a good standard of football, it's slow and there's not much to it".

So I'd rather our kids were out getting kicked.

Ha! I was talking from a rumour point of view. Chinese whispers that a Sebastien is in for a medical, that kind of thing.

Can anybody explain why the above keeps happening to me. I see a dotted red line with an arrow head at each end and a carriage return symbol. And I can't delete them.

What Operating system you using, and are you on a PC or tablet?

I have similar happen occasionally, and if you put your cursor in amongst it and press backspace or delete, it gets shot of it.

Windows 10 on a laptop.

I've tried everything. I'll explore it further.
