We're a bit short in the defensive midfielder department, not ideal....Anyway, bad news about Trybull. Not sure if Jimmy is much of a loss other than 1 less body.
Good news about AP. We desperately need an injection of "spark".
F*ck it. All out attack. We're a bit short in the defensive midfielder department, not ideal....
Makes me wonder if Farke will actually consider something like a 4-4-2, given who is fit.F*ck it. All out attack.
(That came out a bit strange, obviously its a huge shame regardless, but just pointing out that him not getting injured wouldn't necessarily mean we'd now have more depth as we probably moved for Trybull because of the injury).Just a real shame about Louis Thompson though, but then again if he didn't get injured would we have signed Trybull?
See my comment on Ryan.I'm surprised Rossi Jarvis didn't have a longer career in the football league, was a tidy little holding midfielder, but perhaps could have done if he was willing to hit the road, his CV suggests he just didn't want to move away.
Sometimes easy to forget that football to a standard footballer is just a job like any other, and if you can only find a job in Exeter or Carlisle and simply don't want to move there... then a change of career to pay the mortgage and doing your current one on the side is one option on the table, which would be the equivalent of a league footballer taking £200 a week to play part time.
Lives in Wymondham and plays for Chelmsford, I think. Another one who i predicted would struggle in League football.Spillane is a bit of an odd one because he looked really tidy at League 1 level and did well at a few clubs after leaving us, then just seemed to drift in non-league. Looked to have spare chin the last time I saw a photo of him though, so perhaps a picture sometimes says a thousand words!
I'm not saying Rossi Jarvis was anything special or anywhere near good us for us, I'm saying that I think he could have a longer career in the league or at least Conference National if he was prepared to hit the road like his brother did. He played at Luton and then Cambridge, appears to be an unwillingness to go play outside of East Anglia so he went to Lowestoft, I know he had two kids pretty young so that would be why.See my comment on Ryan.
wow, really ? I think I’m out of touch with this as I’m stuck in the 70’s and 80’sGenerally there is just silly money in football at all levels these days. Down at Thurlow Nunn league there will be lads on a couple hundred or more per game. Might even be similar amounts going around the Anglian Comb for the right player.
