Yeah, the more we talk about it, the more you realise we were in a bit of a state, the whole thing needed purged. I'm glad the board had the balls (excuse the pun) to do it.
He said "I know what its like trying to get them out because I've just spent two years trying to do it".
(high profile players with a bad attitude).
He gave Russell Martin his contract extension, Martin probably took a pay cut. He then allowed Martin to leave on a free (after Martin requested it),praised Martin in the press, then granted Martin a testimonial game. Whilst out of the side Martin was praised for his work with the U23's and accompanied Webber on various events. So clearly he isn't referring to Russell Martin.
We aren't discussing whether Martin leaving was a good thing, I was getting seriously sick of the bloke and his delusions. We are discussing whether he was included in the group of people that Webber was slagging off.... and all evidence points to 'no'.
One of the things which happened
Russel Martin reminds me a bit of something somebody told me about Matt Jackson, seemingly lovely but actually a lot of the players really disliked him, as he was a bit of a Snitchy Mcbrownnose. Being a senior pro in a club and / or captain can be a tough gig, as you're meant to keep the manager informed about things. Wasn't there something where all the players went out somewhere and Russ grassed them up?
Who knows what the real truth is, we will probably never know. But the best thing is that under Webber and Farke, I can't see anything like this happening again. Mzybe we'll never truly know just how broken our dressing room was.
To be honest, we aren't unique, footballers, on the whole aren't the sharpest, and are generally young daft lads with too much money. I have a few friends who are pretty in the know, but I have to be careful, and theres a lot I hear that I wouldn't dare put on here so as not to betray confidences and get folk in bother.Sometimes Morty it can just depend on who you know, like your snippets. Most of the time I know bugger all!
When he was sent on loan nobody wanted him. By that time he loved the club so much that his Academy was set up on the South Coast.

presumably we are ignoring the 'shitty little club' remark he came out with some years back.
Is this remark actually proven beyond doubt, never seen the source for it but heard plenty of people talking about it like it definitely happened, just curious because it seems the kinda fake news Ipsh*t fans would make up.
Can't remember which game it happened after, but I can assure you it was addressed to the fans outside the players entrance, which is why so many of them were pissed off. I have never heard it attributed to 1pswich because it wasn't. If you want me to find out exactly when it was I could, but then again so could you. Perhaps the fact that 'plenty of people talking about it' might show that there is something in it.
