It's great to see this starting to happen. A forum is nothing without the people in it.

I think the sad thing about the PinkUn forum is that in some ways the posts are part of the club history. If the forum goes, then so does all the Ray's fund history, all of Ricardo's reports and some interesting insight into how fans tended to feel about things at different points in the club's history.

But that's the whole problem with the internet really. Nothing's permanent.

In fairness, the same thing happened with the official message board about 20 years ago. I thought that would never be replaced, but a lot, if not all, the guys on there migrated to the Pink un, and now the same thing is happening to boost numbers for Norwich Talk.
It's forum evolution I suppose.
Thanks for providing a platform @morty

Not sure if many Pink'Un posters are in contact with each other as in outside the forum but if anyone knows anyone then I hope they would be decent enough to spread the word that we are on this forum. Then again as I have said seems Google thinks this is the number one Norwich forum given it's what comes up if you do a search for a Norwich fc forum and all..

Despite my mixed feelings about the place, it would indeed be a great shame to lose the Ray's funds history, and also the remembering Ardee memorial section. Eddie has worked tirelessly, for many years, raising funds for charity, and it was Ray's funds that brought so many of us together, many years ago, in the Nelson. It would be a shame for all that to be chucked in the recycle bin.

This is all of us waaaaay back in the day, and then presenting Eddie with some stuff to celebrate ten years of the Pups.

I used to be a, how shall we say, a controversial figure on the pinkun, I think my ban runs out in about another 100 years!

There are people there that won't set foot here, because of me.

Their loss.

Didn't hogesar and feedthewolf occasionally talk about having another forum ready in case they shut down the pinkun ? Funny thing is I don't remember them ever posting a link which means the two of them are on there wondering where everyone else is.

I'm not so sure it would be worth it. I don't actually know how much it costs to run something like this (I have little contact with the guy who took this over) but I assume there will be some cost incurred, which you can offset through advertising, but that only really works if the forum is busy. Also more people use Twitter now, forums really aren't that popular, in the grander scheme.

Jæja!

Back in the day (early to mid 2000´s) some posters on The Fall Online Forum set up a private forum (Frenz) to invite select members of FOF.
A lot of badmouthing & piss taking took place on Frenz. Eventually, FOF found out about this and every now & then rows would erupt that made Pink Un Non Football look like a vicars tea party. Both forums still exist, in relative harmony now, mainly due to natural drop off of members

Greetings to everyone!

That forum is here, there are a few of them on their discussing, sounds like the Pink'un will actually be fixing their forum:
