A good opportunity for this site to fill the void.
Good to read on here that freedom of expression is fine and that discipline shouldn't really be needed but is there as a backstop.

It's always been like that here, it's just that one or two pink un posters wanted to say otherwise to put people off coming over

I sent the official Pinkun Facebook page a message on Sunday and messaged Connor's personal Instagram page yesterday. No response to either.

If it's been closed permanently without warning, it's poor considering the amount of charity stuff that goes on.

If it's a temporary glitch and they haven't bothered to communicate this, it's also poor.

So here I am, with a new, improved, abbreviated username.

That’s really poor. I’ve always liked the Pink Un journos, but the current crop with the exception of PD leave a lot to be desired. Connor in particular, has a whiff of elitist about him and seems to lack humility. I could be wrong.. but just the opinion I’ve formed of him..

I wasn't put off by anyone's comments. It was more the lack of activity. I registered a while back and periodly looked here but there were so few new posts I didn't stick around.
It's great to see there's a bit more life here at the moment. I won't be deserting it as soon(if) as the pink un is restored. You can get rid of me that easily!

I hope this place doesn't become a ghost town when they fix it tbh, there's been enough warning signs that the Pink'un aren't interested in the forum.

That condescending 'warning' post by Connor Southwell that the children didn't behave they'd get rid of the forum the most obvious one, followed by the deletion of the non-football forum, as well as the trigger happy banning which I think has seen a few people banished for a third trivial offence. I suspect they just end up back on under a different name, but still.
