For some reason, I feel more confident with them having Lampard in charge. Kenny and Nunez should now be up to speed after their spells on the sidelines. I expect it to be a more open game than most we've seen recently so I'm going for a modest 4-1 victory to us.

I'm optimistic this will be a good game. But yes, our mentality seems to only last for about 80 minutes, and there will always be a spell in games where we are, ridiculously, under the cosh. Say what you like about Barnes and his ability in front of goal but his substitution the other day was exactly the experience we needed to see us through that period.

There could well be a point, on 80 minutes and we are desperately hanging onto a one goal lead when we collectively look to the bench for some experience to help us see the game out...

Looking forward to it as well, but mainly as the past few days has felt such a grind getting back into work... Arrggh weekend, come save us!

On Sainz charge... "The latest was that we'll get information today. Based on that, he will be available. It would be unrealistic for us to reply with an answer before tomorrow."
On Lewis... "Really pleased. He's a player that can give us a different style up front, he can play in three positions. He's a good runner, good at running in behind, timing his runs. There'll be areas he needs to improve. What he brings in terms of physical performance will be really good and we'll be able to use him tomorrow if we want. Physically, his sprint numbers, his intensity of high speed running, is at a high level. He's up there in terms of physical numbers which is a really important part of our play, the demands on the front players."
On Anis... "It's an ankle ligament injury. It is somewhere in between four weeks to six weeks. If everything goes well, it's four weeks."
On Lungi... "It was illness first but then there's calf issues that we found out about. A minor issue, something that will only keep him out for a couple of weeks."
On Barnes... "From a selfish perspective, we could use him as you saw against Luton. But from his perspective, his contract is up this summer and for him to find a club he can spend more seasons, we have to respect that."
Also on Barnes... "His energy and personality brings a lot to our environment. Some of the players are still quite young, so it's important to have some players who know what it's all about. He's one of them."
On Sarge... "Hopefully, this will be the last Championship game without Josh. We hope that we can build him back into the squad. It feels like a signing."
On Duffy... "If you do your work and perform on a consistent level then you will play. He is supportive to the younger players and holds a consistent level himself. It's been a great season so far for him. He's a big part of the group."
Also on Duffy... "He's enjoying himself here. He's focused and avoiding injury, so he can just play. As a player when you arrive in that next step of your career, you have to be a voice in the dressing room, be a leader, he's not perfect in those areas but he's doing well."
On Núñez... "When I watched him in games last season, his passing was inconsistent. He's about to get rid of that, he can still be inconsistent in positioning, that's what we work on the most. You can't just run everywhere doing what you want."
Also on Núñez... "He's really good with the instruction we give him. And you can see he's a big threat when he moves up nearer to the striker. Tap-ins are not for him."
On Coventry... "They'll always be a threat with the players they have out wide, they can dribble, they can take on our full-backs. It's an interesting team, they will compete further on in the season."
On consistency... "That's what it's all about. We know what the guys can do at their best, we can be close to outstanding. But, I've seen when we are not outstanding. That's a part that takes time with a young group."
