The way he praised up Grabban yesterday and brought Seb back on-side proves to me he has some idea of what he's doing.
Why has Lafferty been loaned out do you think? Id have thought it would mean he doesnt have much of a future here, though apparently he says he wants to come backEvery interview I've heard from him has been calm, honest and considered, a pleasant change after the clichés and platitudes of Neil Adams. The players like him, which is a good sign (even Lafferty has gone out of his way to praise him) and you can start to see a new style in our play. We're moving the ball faster in the final third and pressing much higher up the pitch to take pressure off our defence. I like it.
There's a thread on the Pinkun about it, apparently Laffs sent a series of tweets explaining that he asked to be loaned out so he can play ahead of important internationals, the club wanted to keep him but he wanted to go and is looking forward to coming back in the Summer. Why has Lafferty been loaned out do you think? Thanks - just edited my earlier post. Interesting that he says 'a chance to play in my position'There's a thread on the Pinkun about it, apparently Laffs sent a series of tweets explaining that he asked to be loaned out so he can play ahead of important internationals, the club wanted to keep him but he wanted to go and is looking forward to coming back in the Summer.
Sounded very amicable and a sensible chap.
Yes he comes across very well in interviews and seems the type of guy that you might be prepared to run through brick walls for. An inspirational leader is exactly what we need.Every interview I've heard from him has been calm, honest and considered, a pleasant change after the clichés and platitudes of Neil Adams. Yes I will echo that. Good to see you back Wiz.Early signs are good, I agree. Perhaps not the Johnny amateur from a two bit league like a few wanted to brand him!
Nice to see you back, by the way![]()
