Really good night, feeling man love for all of them, Webber especially was absolutely superb. The three of them massively fill me with confidence. No real exclusives to reveal apart from theres a signing today. Oh and I bid on a Grant Holt match worn shirt and won it!

My son has researched it, and thinks it was the Reading game in November 2010 where Holty scored, then was sent off!

I was at that game, we were brilliant in the first half, then the ref had a shocker and sent holt off for a challenge he pulled out of, and Reading made a comeback in the second half, had it been 11vs11 we'd of won that for sure, most frustrating is the card got rescinded which essentially means the ref ballsed up, I still want our 2 points back from that game

They really didn't give a huge amount away, other than a player signing today. No real mention of Murphy, but can understand that as its business in progress and couldn't really be commented on. There was criticism by Stone and Webber of the previous regime, we spent 4 seasons in the Premiership, and the club as a whole never really moved forward in any way, it was all very short term. Scouting was criticised, as was the management of the academy, which should have been delivering a lot more than it has. Brief discussion of Southampton's policy to always have a certain amount of home grown products in every match day squad.

I have massive confidence in this management team, Stone is extremely business like, but witty and engaging, Webber is an absolute machine, driven and focused, he knows exactly what he wants and won't be swayed from the task. Straight talking and has a very clear picture of what needs doing to completely streamline our football club.

Farke, witty and a real deep thinker, comes across as very technically adept and composed.

Many thanks Morty, much appreciated.  Sounds like the overhaul that has been much needed is taking place.  I hear there was a huge turnout, which I'm sure was appreciated by Webber, Farke and Stone as well.  All credit, imo, to them for putting themselves up there to be shot at.

All the questions were good humoured. I think most fans appreciate the position we are in, the reasons why, and the lengths the club is going to, to correct things.

Yeah, was absolutely packed to the rafters, I couldn't get a seat, and had to stand at the bar

It was awful

Just remembered something else, someone asked the question of where Farke saw Russel Martin fitting in, right back or centre back.

They really, really laboured the point about how important his leadership and presence in the dressing room is, and his role in mentoring the young players. No mention at all of what he brings on the pitch.This, combined with wheeling him out for the Talk Norwich City interview leaves me wondering just what role he will play this season. Intriguing....

There does seem to be quite a few who are happy to have him as a squad member, but don't necessarily want to see him as a shoe in starter.

It almost seemed like they are preparing for some sort of ambassador or coaching role, but yeah, very much picking up that he won't be starting too many games.

Tbh I do think there are many who would be happy with that.  He would be ideal for an ambassadorial role.  I really don't think we can continue with him starting the majority of games with how the 'defence' is perceived as having performed over the last 2 seasons at least.  Anyone with half a brain cell knows not one player is to blame, but I can't help but feel, that the majority don't want to see the same old faces trotted out again in defence.  I don't, but then again, wtf do I know!
