You're right! Looks a bit odd with the yellow box cutting into the green a bit too much but I still like it.

I'm just not a fan of half-and-half shirts in general.

I really wish we could come up with a simple, classy design, that people would want to buy/wear more. We'd sell more shirts that way, surely?!

basically they had to cut part of the green out to make sure the aviva logo was visable.... its not really a true half and half. Im sure there was a way they could have done it better, because the big chunk cut out of the green just makes it look odd.

I agree totally. They obviously feel they need a radical redesign to sell more shirts, but if they got a decent designer in they could keep a classic yellow shirt with a touch of green and still make people want to buy the new one every year. It would sell more than these shirts with huge blocks of green.

Really wanted to love this new kit. Not sure i can bring myself to part with £48 for it. 

REALLY should have bought last seasons' shirt. Wonder if any are left, and whether they will be reduced. (and whether Championship style name/numbers can be put on them still?)

My take on a half and half that is a bit more modern, though it could have the same collar as the new kit, I just quickly changed some colours on a design I had to make it half and half. The aviva logo in black so you don't have to cut a block out of the green, it could even have a white border to stand out more like the names and numbers would have on the back. I don't really like half and half's though so something simple would have been good.

I was hoping for a classic all yellow shirt with the black shorts. I dont like or dislike this one, but they have had a problem with having to keep the integrity of the sponsors logo, without it the shirt would look so much better. I guess its popularity will grow, I actually didnt like the last shirt.

I was thinking the same as Macey and morty. Looking at other half and halfs the sponsor is always in black or white but it seems Aviva wouldn't compromise so we end up not with a true half and half and but a half half and half.

For sure, with a green or yellow trim imo.

as I mentioned though the aviva logo could have a white border like this, I presume they will be like this anyway. This would make it pop on the green part of the shirt. I reckon that aviva saw a full half and half but thought the blue logo faded into the green, asking for the surrounding area to be yellow so it stood out...
