Ed Chamberlain and Thierry Henry have already decided that the points are Arsenals and we're as good as relegated
Probably planning to keep it tight and then bring on Redmond for the last 20 minutes to snatch something on the counterattack.Don't understand the reasoning here. Continuing to play Howson out of position while the natural player on that side is on the bench.
I accept most of that but think he is reacting a bit too late with his substitutions. I cannot agree with some who thought Grabban did OK. I thought he offered very little and believe that if you continue with one striker and want movement and control, then Jerome is the man to start. And I felt it sounded strange to hear him say that the changes made were to bring in more technically gifted players. So he thinks Dorrans and Grabban are more gifted than Mulumbu and Jerome. Personally, I disagree with that.I think Alex Neil may be the most adaptable manager I can ever remember at Norwich, look at the way he is using his squad right now.
I know that Lambert used his squad to good effect but he only really had a Plan A and a Plan B.
Who would have expected Gary O'Neil to be starting games against top four sides, and Grabban coming into the team blindsided everybody.
He's clearly a manager who understands what each of his players can offer and how to devise a strategy utilising them for their individual strengths, rather than one like Hughton who just has his preferred XI and a few spares and picks the same team every week whilst leaving decent players on the scrap heap.
If you were the Watford manager you'd just be left clueless when it comes to our next team selection. Watford are doing very well in their own right, but we must be very difficult fixture for the opposition to prepare for right now.
