Fully deserved win...
Eventually. The subs certainly made a difference. Can only hope Gibbs injury is not a bad one.Fully deserved win...
I think the Sargent one too.Surely Byram going down in the area should have been a penalty?
Tbh yes I thought Sarge too, but maybe v. slightly less so.I think the Sargent one too.
It is an interesting debate, what would you rather have, VAR, or iffy Championship refs?
Glad you enjoyed it Tank. You seemed to have brought some luck to us.It was a good day out. Got better as the game went on and nicked the goal. Even managed to stop off at Grantham Wetherspoon and had a chicken pizza and non alcoholic cider
Did any of you lot go or are you all fairweather plastics? LOL.
I still seem to see a story most weekends of some kind of VAR drama.Tbh yes I thought Sarge too, but maybe v. slightly less so.
So far, I think I'm veering on the side of VAR, but it's a close run thing. All depends who's in the little caravan in the middle of nowhere! They do say it's got better this season?
Feet up watching on TV for me!It was a good day out. Got better as the game went on and nicked the goal. Even managed to stop off at Grantham Wetherspoon and had a chicken pizza and non alcoholic cider

I’m sorry you are unable to goGlad you enjoyed it Tank. You seemed to have brought some luck to us.
I'm afraid my health no longer allows me to attend matches, let alone way oop North, so I will have to admit to being an all weather plastic these days.![]()
I think it's a long debate this one. We've had experience of both ends of it of course. I know we're only a few games in but so far I'm not impressed with the standard of Championship refs, particularly when things happen right in front of them. Obviously they are but human and mistakes will happen, I totally accept that but there do seem to be an increasing number of times when the guy is in the right place, incident happens and nothing. Hence my leaning towards VAR, and I never thought I'd hear myself say that!.I still seem to see a story most weekends of some kind of VAR drama.
I think, on balance, I'd rather stick with refs.
I hate VAR with a passion .... some of the 'tonenail' offsides are ridiculous .... I can cope with some dodgy decisions but the evil eye spoils many a good game IMHO.It is an interesting debate, what would you rather have, VAR, or iffy Championship refs?
