Lets hope we can get him signed up to a new deal, because next summer we may have a Sterling situation on our hands.

Difficult to believe that we haven't been trying to get him tied down, with Howson signing a new four year deal recently.
In fairness Id take £49m for him   ;)

If Sterling is worth 50 odd, Redmond should be at least 30. He won't be, but he should.

Sorry, I got that wrong - Nathan Redmond has scored five goals in his last six Norwich appearances

Disappointing we couldn't keep the clean sheet, but brilliant to get our first win and perform as well as we did even if it was against shocking opposition.

Sunderland were terrible no doubt about that. Probably the worst Premier League side I've seen us play and I'd put money on Advocaat being the first manager sacked. Didn't put any pressure on us off the ball and had a distinct lack of quality when on it as well. Ruddy didn't have a save to make all game. As bad as they were though we were superb. Hard to fault any of our players, and the team selection from Alex Neil was spot on. I was a bit wary when the line-ups came out as it was more attacking than I expected, but he got it exactly right and in the end 3-1 doesn't really reflect our dominance. We played some fantastic football and we can take a lot of positives from our opening 2 games.

I thought Redmond was man of the match today, with Hoolahan not far behind. I was also really impressed with Brady, and I'm looking forward to Olsson being back so we can play him further forward as I think he'll have a lot more to offer there. Jerome was superb as well and caused Sunderland real problems, and is a clear upgrade on Grabban. Defensively as well we were solid, particularly Bassong, and it was a shame we conceded towards the end.

Shouldn't get too carried away despite this seeing how terrible Sunderland were, but we'll certainly be confident going into another winnable game at home to Stoke next week. And for Alex Neil not to have lost an away game yet in 16 games is astonishing, and he has to take a lot of credit today as well for the way we were set up.

Its frustrating that to people who didnt see the match, they will see this scoreline and think the Crystal Palace game was the same but in reverse. Two games we dominated, yet two completely different results - neither relective of the games they belong to

To be honest thats the reason we're on first - its all to focus on the problems at Sunderland. The fact they've been so poor against two of the weaker sides in the division will have people lining up to stick in the knife. There might be a passing comment on how good we were and on Alex Neil as he grabs the headlines being so young.

But all they'll really be interested in is rubber-necking at the Sunderland car crash
