Obviously he's done his research, seeing that Fer has knee problems. First time of asking is a strange one, just covers him if he does sign.

Sounds like his knee might be like my old Vauxhall Astra, failed it's MOT Emissions Test the first time of asking, got it warmed up and put it through again and it passed.

Just a word of caution to 'Arry, the valve seals went 3 months later and I scrapped it.

Well if it comes out publically that Fer has failed his medical then i'll believe this guy and everything he's tweeted. If not then i'm afraid it's just clever guesswork. I hope we're not paying Cuellar £25k anyway! I'd imagine that was his start point and we'll settle somewhere between our demands and his.

Either way, if that makes him our highest paid player, i'm stunned. Ruddy deserves at least £25k a week!

I have absolutely no idea, but I imagine most medicals follow a very similar pattern. However Fer had some problems a couple of years back with medicals and his knees. Obviously £8-£10 million is a big investment.

If rumours are to be believed, Everton were lining him up to replace Fellaini but that deal fell through at the last minute so they pulled out of the Fer deal using the medical as a reason.

From people I know at Everton I don't think that's far from the truth. Strange that there's never been a hint of knee issues at City.

Everton tried to be a bit sneaky and claimed that a previous injury Fer sustained meant they wanted to restructure an agreed deal into being based on the amount of games Fer played for them.

There is a wonderfully angry interview from Fer on YouTube (in Dutch unfortunately) where he is rather uncomplimentary about Everton and how they had damaged his career by making such false claims. He said he was very upset he couldn't play against them in Norwich's opening game last season as well, as he needed to right some wrongs.

I imagine the Fer deal will be announced sometime today, he only had the medical yesterday and everything can't be finalised quite so quickly.

In that case, I very much stand corrected. I read a report from the Everton side and didn't really think to check the authenticity of it.

Seems he's absolutely fine and fully expecting the deal to go through. Shame as I did see some light at the end of the tunnel there.

Have to imagine it's just personal terms, sometimes these things can take some time.

Maybe QPR are waiting to make a double announcement with Vargas - or Fer is down in Norwich packing etc. The deal could all be signed and delivered but both clubs are holding off making the official announcement for 100 different reasons.

I thought he was hinting at a club announcement at 5pm, rather than him revealing anything. I doubt anything will happen but I'll check the usual sites just in case.

Blokes on a wind up, to be honest if he got it right on the Fer deal it's only a 50/50 guess right now as his switch to QPR is nailed on and we know what happened with Everton.  For me this can only go in 1 of 2 directions!
