Probably the most important position to upgrade though... The one place where we need a clear first XI upgrade. Tettey hasn't got the legs.

In other positions we just need more depth/options.

Not out of contract but some people speculated that his testimonial appearance was a goodbye.... But it would be unlikely that he'd be told he wasn't in our plans in advance of a replacement being signed, even if we've got a list of 20 targets.

Problem with Tettey is that for a few years now what seems to happen is that it takes a while for him to get firing, them he's brilliant for 10 games, then he gets injured and instead of coming back in at 80 percent he looks like he needs a preseason again. Got the quality just too far past 30.

Sure he's still got plenty to offer in a less physical league, a couple of years at Rosenberg or something.

Thing about Tettey is that he never plays a full season (I don't know if that is factually correct but it is near enough the case). He gets injuries. I only see him going if he wants to go. I suspect we'll want to keep him because he's a good player and he'll die on that pitch for you.

Nelson, Yanic, Morris, passlack, Rhodes, srbenny, Naismith, Aston, heise, theres probably others I've missed who dont play first team football and will be out on loan or contracts bought off.
I suspect these will be dealt with before players come in.

No thanks. Hard running, hard tackler (with a definite nasty streak) with limited skillset? Wife rumoured to be from South West? Price tag £15m. Sorry don't see how that fits Farke plan at all.

Pinto, Jarvis, Naismith, Wildschut, Klose, Cantwell are the out of contract players.

Rhodes and Passlack have their loan deals end.

Cantwell one is a bit strange, can we hazard a guess that he wants the same money as Godfrey, Lewis and Aarons when they signed their new deals, and perhaps the club don't feel he's quite up to their level and has more to prove before achieving parity?

If we offer him a deal which is at least equal to his current one then that means we are owed compensation if he leaves. If that is what he wants the fine, not going to cry over that. Will probably be a mistake on his part though. Personally I'd like to see him extended and loaned out to the Championship for a year, Brentford would be a good arrangement?

Suspect that Raggett, Srberny, Morris, Husband, Marshall, Oliviera, Franke are all for sale. Thompson probably available for loan?

Would be interested in seeing Srberny have a loan at one of the Championships lesser sides though, e.g. Wigan or newly promoted Luton, to see if he can force his way into their team and get amongst the goals. May be a rough diamond?

Personally think its time for Carlton Morris to move on, probably have a good career in League One with an outside chance of a rise late in his career.... let him go for £250k but with a huge sell on clause just in case we regret it like Ipswich did when they sold Rhodes.
