I think if you can't name 8 homegrown players then you don't get to use all of your sub spaces. So if you can only name 6 in your 18.... then the 18 becomes a 16, and you only have 5 subs on the bench instead of 7.

That's not the end of the world for us with a smallish squad anyway. You've only got 3 subs, and Herr Farke doesn't like to bring them on too early anyhow.

wasn't sure where to put this but Carlton Morris has done his ACL, so I'd be very surprised if we see him play before xmas, so assuming Nelson goes it looks like we're going to need to bring in at least 2 strikers now

Aye, agreed. Real shame for the lad, whilst maybe not good enough for a regular starting role, I felt this could be his season to play a part, at least. Shitty timing.

If he makes it back playing football before the end of next season he'll have done well. Sh*t news for him.

Realistically it was hard to see him being any more than a squad player here and I'm not sure we would need him and Srbeny in the same squad.
