Things you've thought of but are too dull for conversation.

I thought of something to add to the yesterday but wasn't near my phone. It was so dull I've completely forgotten what it was...

Why is Norwich so bad at attracting big bands? Just read the smashing pumpkins are playing in Colchester in August. I already want to Madness and James there. It seems Norwich lacks a suitable venue for such things or it it the city's reluctance?

You can go and see my mate’s punk band in October. Not sure what venue, it was going to be The Waterfront but it’s been moved. They’ve played at The Brickmakers a couple of times so they might be back there.

What are they called? I'll do that.

They’re called Knock Off. 3 angry middle aged men from Watford. They’ve supported Sham 69, Cockney Rejects, GBH, UK Subs, Toy Dolls, they’re supporting Cock Sparrer and Ruts DC soon and also Therapy?

I don't think we're bad at attracting bands, it's more a case of not having a venue which is a step up from the UEA . The UEA holds about 1500 which isn't big enough for some bands. I think the concerts you're referring to are at Colchester castle which is an outdoor venue so I don't think it's particularly fair to compare that with our venues. Personally I think the city has good choice of places for live music.

Knock off. I'll check them out.

And yes. It's more a venue issue and me not explaining myself very well. Nothing against any existing venues in Norwich. I've seen many fantastic gigs at all of them. but there's definitely a demand for somewhere bigger. Indoors or outdoors to join existing places. I'm sure the demand is there. Earlham parka had a few people and that was ok. The showground too but that's a ball ache to get to.
As soon as I win that euro millions money I'll build one!

I think we could support a venue similar to the Nottingham arena. Holds about 5k and holds sporting events as well as live music

I'm getting a quote for new windows and doors tomorrow. I hate dealing with people like this. I have worked in the industry many years ago, and it is full of scumbags.

A few days ago, purchased a portable 20 litre dehumidifier for our apartment, with the idea of running it 3 hours a day, different location each day. So why does my lady rush into the location just finished, and give the plants a big time spray and watering? hard for me to get the logic of this
