Is it current 17:44pm like my phone is telling me, or 16:44pm like Google is telling me?

This forum appears to be saying 05:44pm, so I certainly need to get that changed to 24 hour clock at least!

Forum seems to be telling the right time, but in 12 hour format not 24 hour format, will change that tomorrow. 

Splutcho, if yours is an hour out then could it be something which you need to change in your forum settings, I believe all users are able to set their own time zones?

Could the forum pages update/refresh in the way live text does on a match report?  Saving the need to refresh a page if ur just reading rather than posting?

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, loving the look of his new forum! Looks great on a computer and very easy to post using an iPhone! Lotf of different topics to chat about, I like that! Not just football based, although obviously that will be the main focus!

Great to see an independent Norwich supporters' forum. As has been said, The Pink Un forum is a sad joke both technically and in terms of content. It was also embarrassing that we were the only club in the Football League without an independent forum. Do we really need Archant to hold our hands?

I hope this forum will be properly moderated. It would be good to see threads and posts deleted if they are about posters rather than the club. Already I see some posts popping up that are about individual posters over on the Pink Un forum. Let's just stick to the issues rather than personalities. It would also be good to avoid 10 different threads on the same topic.

There is a bad word list but it may be a little overzealous as I did it the lazy way and uploaded a spreadsheet contained 112 words.

I'll revise that manually at some stage, to only include the couple of dozen swearwords that anybody actually ever uses.

A useful feature. Presumably a guest or an anonymous user is a lurker? Always wondered how may people were signed up and how many read as lurkers, as I did for many years

Great to see an independent Norwich supporters' forum. 

Gaffer, this is what motivated me to start this. Almost every other club in the football league seems to have a decent independent forum, Norwich don't.  

If this place does grow as hoped then yes there will be moderators, as long as there are people willing to volunteer to do it (along with myself), each of the forums on this site can each be assigned individual moderators, or a single moderator can be assigned to say three specific boards. 

That would be my preference, to have a number of moderators who each pitch in to help keep a particular board clean and tidy. 

For the time being there is a report button on each post which alerts my admin account (I should really ditch this account to avoid confusion) of any issues.

Display name history is a good feature for those with an identity crisis!  Could I request one thing, is there anyway birthdays can be blocked from view of other people? I dont mind having my birthday on file to calculate my age (im curious as to the ages of some users) but I dont really want my birthday on show to everyone - its a bit of a security risk for identity theft etc, so at the moment only option is to leave it blank
