Great-looking site, and a great idea. I don't post on the Pinkun site very often because of all the bitching and one-upmanship, so hopefully this place will develop into a happy forum where civility and intelligent discussion is the norm!

I tell you what would be nice, on this nice shiney new forum, is that people use photos instead of avatars. I think that perceived anonymity is something that encourages bad behaviour in places like this.

I agree with that Morty, If this is to be for City fans and people are going to be genuine then why hide behind a mask. Have tried to upload avatar from my Picci's and keep getting a message that the file is too big, anybody got any ideas how I can fix this?

I think the maximum file size is only about 50k. Do you have any photo editing software that you can use to compress the photo? I use Microsoft picture manager, that comes with Office, but most photo editors / viewers should have the ability to compress.

"Photoscape" is a piece of freeware that will let you crop and shrink photos (amongst other things), very good and recommended.

See if you can upload the image in a private message (to me), and if you can I'll sort it for you. 

The reason that forums have tight limits on the size of avatars is that they are replicated hundreds of times all over the site so large files in avatars could affect sitewide load times and consume excessive resources, whereas a large file on a forum post is only going to consume system resources when that particular page of that particular post is opened.

Bad behaviour will not be tolerated here, but if there is someone that is really irking you, yes, there is an ignore feature.

Welcome also to the many people who have joined since 2nd August, over 200 additional members have signed up since! 

Approximately 500 to 600 unique visitors per day, over the course of the past week we have had 1235 unique users visit, just 26000 more and we'll fill Carrow Road.

We currently get between 5000 to 8000 page views per day, which is a great start for a 34 day old site.
