I mean he is a quality operator at this level so you'd have to expect clubs to be interested in him. And I'm pretty sure we'd sell any of our players for a few million.

Pritchard is really the only one I could see us wanting north of £10m for and putting up a fight to keep.

Discussing this on twitter just now, and I really shouldn't, as the more I do, the more this situation we're in annoys me.

Change is good, we needed change, and certain players needed to leave, I accept that, but there comes a point where enough is enough. 8m is the price being touted, I doubt we could buy better than Nelson for that price. Also Farke has had time to work with the squad and start shaping them into what he wants them to play like, much more disruption can only mean more time for players to bed in, and I don't want to spend half the season getting up to speed, I want a fully fit and focussed squad, ready to go on day one.

Lets hope its all nonsense....

It's not selfish, it's why quite a few are getting more than a little nervous that there may be something in this.  Step too far etc. how many more, Pritchard next (?), everybody has a price and so on.  Like you I don't like to see the quality getting sold.  Dead wood is one thing, this would appear to be something else.

It was posted just after 9am on Friday elsewhere.  I may be impatient, but as far as I'm concerned that's plenty of time for some form of response to a story which is of concern to the fans, imo.

I'm not so delicate (nor I suspect you) that I need every single rumour denying by the football club, but I definitely think theres something in this.

Met a very drunk Huddersfield fan from Huddersfield last night, his name was "Yorkshire John" and he sounded very very Yorkshire. We weren't in Yorkshire of course, otherwise his name would be weird. 

I thanked his town for spawning Cameron Jerome, although he then said "isn't he sh*t?".

Left it to him to mention Webber because I'm not very good at judging the tone, didn't want it to sound like I was gloating. He did it himself... "Webber is a f*cking c*nt, I hate him". 

Then he said that he is a genius and that he'll get us promoted, not to worry about anything and that he absolutely loves Webber but also really hates him. Which I guess would describe our feelings towards Paul Lambert for a year or so after he walked. 

Thing is, Villa fans aren't so appreciate of Lambert's genius are they. 

Not sure if it made me feel any better or not, this man is either going to be the best thing to happen to us for years or a bloody disaster isn't he.
