Right, lets get this thing going!

Does anyone know anything at all about what they might bring to the table? Do they have anyone we need to be looking out for?

From our point of view, unchanged team for me. No way you can drop Zimm or Godfrey for Klose, and no way would I risk a freshly fit Leitner.

I think even throwing the fact in that it is a derby, I can't see anything other than a win here, if you go to TWTD, they are agreeing, and more asking what can they keep the score down to? 3 or 4 nil seems popular.

Should be a great occasion, BE Norwich have new banners / flags, there is a march down to the ground, and i have a big ole fry up booked in the Nelson, bar opens at ten.

I’m slightly worried, mainly because when I’m this confident things go wrong. I can’t see anything other than a win though. The only thing they can do is try and kick our players up in the air at the start of the match to try and put us off, we move the ball so well though that they won’t really get that close to us. We average two goals a game, they can’t score, would love us to humiliate them but realistically it will probably be 2-0.

Last two games between us finished 1-1

I agree that we shouldn't give them the opportunity to kick Leitner.

On paper it really shouldn't be anything other than a home win, but Norwich don't really do "on paper", especially when you look at our games against Millwall, Bolton, Reading, Rotherham, very fine margins in the end. Add in the fact that this is a derby and I really don't know what to expect, emotions can get the better of people, but we've shown we're capable of handling the big games recently.

You know Ipswich will go into this game feeling like nothing left to lose, they may be bottom but Lambert will get them fired up. If we can start like the last three games, get that early goal and knock the emotion out of the game I think we'll be fine. However I wouldn't be shocked if Ipswich managed an upset, I'd take a draw just to get the game out of the way! The pressure and expectation is definitely on us.

I would love to be a fly on the wall of Lambert's office, and know just what his plan is. Press us high? Get in our faces? Stand off us? I doubt Ipswich will have any kind of "Ah well, we have nothing to lose" attitude, they need 3 points, they need the morale boosting victory, they desperately need some hope in amongst the gloom. I should imagine Farke will be very much playing this down, and that it is just another 3 points.

Park the bus, lump it long, endless fouling, keep putting high ball into the box and hope is my guess, set pieces are our weak point and if the ref is weak it could play in their favour, they can't win this game by playing football but I fully trust Farke is the man to get us through this game.

We should probably find a new rival, its beginning to feel a little like we're picking on a small team. Its like Manchester United laughing aty Oldham or Rochdale.
Perhaps we should enter into an agreement with Stoke to become their new rivals with the agreement that if Ipswich or Port Vale ever get out of the lower leagues again we will cancel the arrangement. We need somebody our own size to pick on (right after we've given them one final thumping)

Got a feeling we are going to give these lot a proper hiding this time... Pukki, Hernandez and Vrancic all among the goals. Ipswich might grab one from a corner if they are lucky.

I suppose the City fans could all stand and chant "cheerio" at the scummers

Ghastly little things they are. The sooner they stop coming up here, polluting Carrow Road the better. There is nothing good to say about them.

Lambert has had his presser, if you believe him it sounds like they’re going to try and press. They’ll be knackered by the second half.

Prior to Sunday's derby Barclay End Norwich, and ourselves, will be putting on our biggest display to date.
The display will cover the entire Lower Barclay and we urge supporters to be in their seats by 11:45 in order to create the best visual impact possible.
The Club will be closing off some entrances from the concourse onto the terrace during the display, so again, please be in your seats in good time.
We urge supporters to bring scarves to hold up/twirl and encourage anyone with a flag on or around their seat to wave it for maximum impact.
Fans may have to spend up to 5 minutes with their view of the pitch blocked prior to the match, up to when the teams come out.
We thank you all in advance for your co-operation.

They’re clearly looking forward to it :) but fair play to this guy, we’ve been there too, it’s your team and you have to be there.

“I couldn't not be there. its like being by your dogs side as he's put down, you just have to be there, regardless”

Sounding like it could be the same team again. Trybull's ankle is fine, Leitner back in training, but likely too soon, Klose back in training next week. Tettey available. Cantwell and Godfrey have had knocks, but should be fine.

Suffering from a bit of pmt now, that’s pre match tension ;)

I have barely given it any thought. Watching Villa vs Sheff U just now hoping Villa can do us a favour. Not looking like it so far....
