Given the run Forest have been on recently, i can't help but feel that this is another classic case of, "And along come Norwich". Really hope I'm wrong on this.

Adams needs to make some tough decisions in defence and wide left remains a problem, especially if Lafferty is unlikely to start.

Time to become difficult to beat and get three points on the board.

Is three points the minimum? I think if we are going to establish ourselves as the best club in this division then it needs that old chestnut "momentum" to surface again. We think we have enough good players even if there is debate about the manager. So I think it needs not only a good performance but a result on Saturday to revive our fortunes which although stunted at the moment are not beyond revival. And a good performance after a good thumping is the best way to start that momentum.

If not then I fear about the character of the squad rather than the ability.

Need to win this one. Even a draw probably won't be good enough after the drumming we received mid-week, especially when you consider that Forest are on a worse run than we are.

Team:

Ruddy
Martin Turner Miquel Olsson
O'Neil Tettey
Redmond Howson Lafferty
Jerome

Didn't watch the game on Tuesday, so it's hard to judge, but Whittaker desperately needs to be dropped. Hard to drop one of Howson, O'Neil or Tettey as they were all excellent against Bolton. Redmond has to start, and it seems that Lafferty is our best option in left midfield at the moment. I would also keep Jerome in the team ahead of Hooper, simply because of Jerome's 2 goals last week, but Hooper is pushing for a start now.

Don't even wanna predict the score for this as it could go either way. I think I'm more confident of a win than a defeat, but I'm still not really sure.

Mind you, isn't it strange that a few short weeks ago we were all extolling the playing squad as talented, covered in every position and probably the best in this division.

And yet, if I'm not mistaken, I don't think your line up will be far different from the one chosen. And yet that is just one change from a team that was hammered on Tuesday.

Where has the best squad in the division gone?

I have yet to be convinced over the goal scoring efficiency of Grabban. He scored a rather weird collection of goals early on, but seems to offer very little now. Whether it is because of the way we play, or some deficiency in his technique, I don't know, but if we play only one striker it has to be Jerome, but I hope that he is pushed by Hooper.

Forest are a little like us, in having a weak defence, but a reasonable attack.Adams has to discard personal loyalties and pick the strongest defence we can muster, with Tettey to play in front of them. Sadly, I think that Whittaker is not up to it, and whatever the manager may think Martin is the only other RB. The main problem must be deciding who plays in the centre with Turner. Hooiveld is the most experienced, but is rather slow. Ditto Cuellar. Is Iggy good enough? If we can plug the gap for a week or two, we shall have Bennett back, which I find reassuring.

If Forest's problem at the back relates to dealing with pace, give them plenty to contend with - Redders and even Josh as well, and with Jerome in the centre, with Howson to prompt them. O'Neill is a little slow, but he has nous and can deliver a good set piece. In the absence of Wes and Vidas, there doesn't seem a lot of choice, unless someone does extra well in training.

Put him in beside Lafferty. Lafferty is a lot of things but one of them is a goal scorer. Get Grabban + Lafferty to work off each other in a more central role and it could be worth seeing what happened. In saying that I'd like to see Hooper get a start.

Agreed on Whittaker. I like him but he doesn't seem for it right now. Move Martin to RB

Unless our defence tightens up, and with their leading scorer returning, I can see a number of goals being scored. I could even imagine 2-2, but this would depend on our taking our chances.

I honestly can't see us scoring many, unless we serve Jerome better, Redders gets his first or Lafferty, Howson or O'Neill open their accounts as well.

I'll go for 2-1 to Forest or 1-1.

Just a heads up - 4 stations are broadcasting this game apparently, so very good chance of a stream.

Today we fall to tenth and it will all be down to "bad luck" but if we keep playing that way we'll be "right up there" by the end of the season.

Looks like Derby might be solidifying their odds. They're 5-0 up against Wolves.

Ruddy; Martin ©, Cuellar, Turner, Olsson; O'Neil, Tettey, Johnson; Howson; Grabban, Jerome

Subs: Rudd (GK),Whittaker, Lafferty, Hooper, Hooiveld, Josh Murphy, Redmond.

Pleased we've moved to a more sensible defense but it looks like we're going back to the diamond, which for me is possibly a mistake, our best chances recently have come from crosses.

Happy that he's taken Whittaker out, but I just can't understand why Neil's playing the diamond again when it didn't work vs Sheffield Wednesday. Leaving Redmond out is madness, and I'd rather have Hooper over Grabban right now. It will be interesting to see how Cuellar does. However between Cuellar and Turner there's pretty much no pace there, which when you consider Forest have the likes of Assombalonga, Antonio, and Ince in their attack, it is a little worrying.

After that team selection, I think we'll lose.

At least wiziwig seem to be showing the game.

Having to watch it on a link with foreign commentary, as for some reason when I opened the English link it was Blackpool vs Leeds.

Well, well, well. Outplayed and looking at sea with yet another system and out of the blue . . .  right winger Howson scores!

YES!

The first time we've actually had some possession, and we score. Great finish from Howson.

wiziwig is in english
I went on the english link on Wiziwig and it was showing Leeds vs Blackpool. So clickes on the arab link instead. It's a great link though, hasn't frozen once and a good picture.
