In reality we are going to have to adapt our style a bit and that includes adding a bit of physicality.

Big strong 6ft 2 inch defensive midfielder who is great at reading the game and breaking up play.... plus he's homegrown. And he's only 24, which means improving isn't out of the question and Farke would be the man to do that.

Also need to consider exactly how it is that we are going to try and improve our defending of corners, a huge weakness in this team... (attacking them as well as it happens). and seeing as nobody has the appetite to replace Aarons or Lewis with 6ft clunkers like Pulis would do.... a big man in midfield is the only idea I have?

We won't pay £15m for him (unless Webber is bluffing with regards to our transfer budget), but a loan with a clause to buy if we stay up may not be impossible if no other team meets the asking price?

If we offer him a deal which is at least equal to his current one then that means we are owed compensation if he leaves. If that is what he wants the fine, not going to cry over that. Will probably be a mistake on his part though. Personally I'd like to see him extended and loaned out to the Championship for a year, Brentford would be a good arrangement?

Agree with this. Imo Cantwell flatters to deceive and a season on loan in the Championship would show whether he has what it takes or not.

Would be interested in seeing Srberny have a loan at one of the Championships lesser sides though, e.g. Wigan or newly promoted Luton, to see if he can force his way into their team and get amongst the goals. May be a rough diamond?

Personally think its time for Carlton Morris to move on, probably have a good career in League One with an outside chance of a rise late in his career.... let him go for £250k but with a huge sell on clause just in case we regret it like Ipswich did when they sold Rhodes.
