not sure about a left back, we've got Xavi fit again, Sorensen has proven he can play there if needed and surely Byram must be back soon?

I'd be more concerned about getting at keeper in, McGovern is likely out for the season, and whilst Barden has done well in his couple of appearances how confident would we be about him playing the next five months if Krul picked up a long term injury, we don't need a first choice keeper, just someone to cover Krul if something should happen

Good afternoon Norwich fans, PAOK fan here. Giannoulis is a very very good player and is a rare example of a player from the Greek league that his physical attributes are perfect for english football. The guy runs up and down the wing like it is nothing. He just never gets tired and he is super fast. His offensive game is really really good most of the time, with well timed crosses and nice technical touches with the ball. Really good decision making, it is like having an attacking midfielder at the left back. He is very efficient in giving the ball forward, his progressive game is on flick. His weak spot is his defence, his insticts are a little bit meh. His form right now is not the best we have seen, but still he is maybe the top player of our club. You can expect a player with ridiculous work ethic that gets better game by game, and I believe the motivation of playing in PL next year will do wonders for him. Potential 30M player if things work out well. There was a strong debate between who is the best greek left back, between him and Tsimikas who currelty plays for Liverpool, and in our national team almost always Giannoulis started and Tsimikas was on bench. Comparing with Akpom, a former player that currently plays for Middlesborough, Giannoulis impact on the team was much greater.
You can see in the following video after 3:00 how he dismantled Benfica's defense this summer with two incredible runs.

PAOK has issues with financial fair play and the player wants to make the next step, so this is why we kinda accept this move. In summer we rejected a 7 million offer from Atalanta for him and considered the offer a joke. Take good care of the lad and give him some time to adapt to english football, I am sure you will be impressed!

PS: If you are interested about other prospects, we also have a wonderkid with tremendous work ethic and already an international, 18 year old Christos Tzolis, a winger-forward that everytime he touches the ball something good happens

In this video you can also see some good crosses from Giannoulis.

Tim Kloses house is up for sale. Didn't really expect him back, but kinda confirms it.

His house has been for sale for a little while, you can put in a cheeky offer if you like :)

Seems on paper, a very good signing, a very good player. A possibly, superb deal by the Canary people. Quite amused by him keeping the world class scouse/ Greek player on the bench for Greece international games, and by the deal that we got for Lewis.Could go tits up, but at least the Canary people, seem to be doing a good job. Good luck Dimitris, you are not only a very good and welcome signing, but Thessaloniki is also very good, a bit sunnier than Norwich though

7 goals in 12 games for them, though it is in the dutch second tier so make of that what you will, I know he was originally sent there due to work permit issues but has since played and scored twice for USA, makes me wonder if Pukki is going to be out a little bit longer than anticipated, I know Adam Idah was originally ruled out for 10 weeks and that was late November, so he should be getting back soon too, I wonder if they plan on maybe sending him out on loan as he could probably use the game time

Was reading earlier the opinion is that Soto will go into the U23's so we can get a look at him, and they will send the U23 striker Omotoye out on loan somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if Idah went on loan, but that could leave us potentially light, I guess it depends on how well Soto settles.
