Teemu has hardly had a break over the past year. With international games and our games, he seems to have been playing non stop.
If Idah can nick a goal or two the next couple of games, it will give Teemu a chance to catch his breath and get his toe back to normal.

Much the same as Srbeny rumoured to be going out, a lot depends on what the short term future for Idah is.

It's sometimes difficult to gauge whether it's a genuine story or something that's been dreamed up by a spotty teenager in a smelly bedroom that has been knocking round the internet.

Loans for young lads either make them or break them, there are so many factors. I hope we are doing our due diligence that club and player are a good fit for each other, and that they will get the opportunities and support that they need. Also tough on them if they get injured.

Famewo seems a reasonable move to me,assuming he gets good game time in. Scottish premier not English premier but has a fair standard. Champion-ish type, but certainly better than league 1. Gets indoctrinated into the rough and ready type play

Carlton Morris has gone on loan to MK Dons. Feels like one that just isn't going to cut the mustard here, I'm afraid.

Yeah, pretty sure he is.

Yeah I think so, Cantwell's and Maddison's loans worked out pretty well. I think Rocky Bushiri has a future here, and I think Famewo will do okay. In the case of Carlton he is behind the curve (You could say the same about Louis Thompson) he is 24 now and has missed a year of his development due to his ACL injury. But there will always be ones that just don't work out, can't win em all!

Denis Srbeny has completed his move to Paderborn. Shame to see him go, I liked the guy, but the form of Pukki meant he had few chances.

He goes in a deal worth 1m plus, which is more than we bought him for. Good business.

Word on the Twittersphere is that it is doubtful that another striker will be coming. Which implies that Adam Idah is deemed ready enough to be a full and proper squad member. Michael Bailey also hinting that Pukki's hamstring is likely to keep him out on Saturday, so looks like Adam will get his big chance. You would also assume that Drimc isn't too far away from being fit.

Seeing a few talk about Rhodes, I wouldn't be against a short term loan till the end of the season, but no more than that.
