Hard to say, I have seen a few sources mention this, but you know what its like. For me I'm not so sure someone like Man Utd would take a risk on a young player based on half a season. For Maddison it was blatantly obvious he belonged in the Prem. Todd has had a great season, and quite a rise, so far, but if I was a buying club I reckon I'd see how the rest of the season pans out.

Still 4 weeks to go of this window. Don't think there will be many key players left by the end of Jan the way we are going. I would have liked to have seen some effort made to keep this team together until the end of the season, but it seems they can't wait to break it all up. Sell the good'uns, keep the ones who offer nada Heisse for example.

No one has been sold yet.

I don't understand why anyone is down about this, it is flattering that other clubs are interested in our players. And, at the end of the day, this is the reason we pay all that money to have an academy! All our stars are on long contracts, and will only be sold when it suits the player, and suits Norwich City.

And Webber has a fantastic record of getting the absolute most out of a transfer. We nurture the talent, we develop it, sell some, keep some, and keep financing the club. I know it is an example used often, but take a look down the A140 as an example how not to do things, I bet they are kicking themselves about not spending that wee bit extra to have a Cat 1 academy, as opposed to a Cat 2.

I read that his contract will still have two years to run come the summertime.

We've known for what seems like a lifetime, that we need to invest in decent defenders. The current crop aren't improving the goals conceded stats.
Surely we could have done a deal over past couple of months to announce on Jan 1st and by the next League game, he'll be up to speed with the squad.

I would suspect that there is a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about. It is rare that you ever hear very much about our transfer targets much before they arrive.

As you know, I was questioning the idea of bringing in a striker when we historically require defenders.

Not sure if the Adam Idah situation changing has had an effect. Farke said yesterday that Adam will likely not be going out on loan now, which leaves Dennis even further down the pecking order.

The facts show that he hasn't scored enough goals.
Who knows how he would have done with a run in the team but with Farke moving towards using him as a midfielder, you'd have to assume he wasn't banging them in during training.
