I'll grant you that, but why spend all that money on a striker who hasn't scored any goals?
Werder have even shuffled him off to the right wing because he can't score.
He doesn't even get assists.

I can't answer that one Number 9. He seems to be highly thought of in general, thought being that Bremen have being playing him out of position quite often, but what do I know. Not going to write him off before he's pulled the shirt on!:)

I've given it some thought and come to my conclusion.

Josh has a reputation for working hard and covering alot of ground, including helping defensively.
I believe Farke just sees him as an attacking midfielder.

Josh doesn't tend to assist or score goals though, that's my problem.

Let's hope Farke and the coaches improve that in training.
My suspicious nature tells me that Pukki is going to get flogged to death and we're going to struggle with our midfielders just scoring the odd goal here and there.

@Number 9 He's young, so DF and his team can still mould him into what they want. I don't doubt they've been looking at him for yonks, so his potential is obvious to them if not so much to us.
I still think we're not finished in this window. Webber acknowledged that he'd sent DF into battle without any bullets last time, so he cannot risk being accused of sending him into battle unarmed this time.

Can't help thinking that we're adding more to the National Collection of Midfielders that we already curate.

At a time when we're still desperate for other positions to be filled.

The season starts in three days.

Agree Number 9, but the window doesn't close in 3 days. Not ideal, but if the players DF wants are yet to be available, there is time to sign them. Not normally how we do business but normality is not how we are living atm!;)

5 year deal. Complaints from elsewhere about the expression on his face..............not looking happy enough? Personally I'm just happy he's signed. :D

Was just reading that Webber has been tracking him since he was 11 years old, when Webber was part of the Liverpool academy. The lad looks a real prospect.
