I have seen it said he is trying to stir up a bit of a bidding war. To be fair, that is just someone else on Twitter quoting the bonus figures, could well be bullshit. This feels to me that he won't end up with us. Word is the kid is pretty special.

I haven’t read through these (and this is like my first post in 2 years or something!) but I would expect to see Buendia, Cantwell, Godfrey, Lewis (maybe), Aarons and possibly Klose all to go. Perhaps some dead wood as well (Leitner, Trybull, Drmic please god).

I think it is absolutely vital we keep Krul, Hernandez, Zimbo, Hanley, Kenny and hopefully Pukki will fire on all cylinders again. It is definitely going to be a very exciting window for us! Pressure will be on if we have a rubbish start!

I am wondering if Lewis is off, after bringing in Sam Mcallum. Am not so sure about Buendia, he is obviously a talent, but he needs to take the nonsense out of his game, as shown with his recent red card. I have seen a rumour of Krul to Celtic, but it wasn't a strong one. I don't expect to see Leitner and Trybul here next season, for definite. And yeah, as much as I like Klose, he just isn't fit for long enough.

As regarding our main saleable assets of Cantwell, Godfrey and Aarons I would think Cantwell is likeliest for a big club move, as good as Godfrey and Aarons are, they have been part of an absolutely terrible defence this season. Lots of rumours about Aarons earlier in the season, so wouldn't be surprised to see him go, unfortunately full backs don't usually command a big fee.

I think, overall, it is the right thing to do in freshening up the squad. The old tactic of trying to keep a team together, after relegation, I think is flawed, as unless you get a good start, the doubts from the previous season just creep back in.
