Frustrated with the Amadou situation to be honest, don't feel like he ever got a proper chance. Only played 2 games in his natural position, one against Arsenal where he was very good, another against Southampton where he was admittedly poor but so was the whole team. But then he was dropped after that game and never given another chance. I like Tettey but the whole point of signing Amadou was that we wanted someone who was an upgrade on him and Trybull, and was one of our key areas of improvement in the summer. We thought we'd done that with Amadou, but even if Farke and Webber had decided over the course of the 1st half of the season that we hadn't, why would you let him go back to Spain with no plans to replace him? Tettey's been ok overall and you know he'll always give everything, but he shouldn't be starting week in week out if we want to stay up. How many defensive midfielders do you see in this league any more who are as bad on the ball as he is most of the time?

If he wasn't deemed good enough to displace Tettey, then that's why he didn't play. Understand that he didn't want to be here anyway

I'm happy with Tettey staying, he's been a great servant and is still our best holding midfielder, sure his passing might not be at the level of Leitner or Trybull in that role, but he does what he has to do well, wouldn't be surprised if he called it a day after next season though or heads back to Norway as he'll be 35 at the end of next season

June 10th 2020, transfer window opens.
This may be subject to adjustment because of the current situation.

What on earth will City do?

Surely nothing serious can happen until we know for definite which League we will play in next season.
There is still an outside chance that we won't be relegated, not through football reasons obv, but should we find ourselves staying in the Prem, this will be a huge unexpected windfall.
Would you spend ££££ ?
The odds favour a return to the Chumps, and that would suggest selling a couple of players and not much coming in, other than speculative signings for future times.

Far too many ifs and maybes atm to make any decisions either way I would have thought. As a player, how long would you want to play in front of nobody? The crowd is everything at a match, without that you've bog all. I don't think the authorities are taking that into consideration.

Could be signing Jacob Lungi Sorensen, a Danish player.
You didn't need to ask, midfielder....

Midfield is where we've clearly lacked quality this season. Need quality Pukki competition up top as well, but the middle of the park is where we are obviously Championship standard. If this player is an upgrade on either of McLean or Trybull, or the player who can succeed Tettey, then I support it.
